Our first live event, a college quiz, peaked at 4,481 requests a minute with zero server errors. Event mode, built from what we learned there, opens a window of up to 24 hours with much higher limits for everyone on the same network, plus a join screen for the projector.

Which plans can run quizzes?
Quiz scoring, the live leaderboard, presenter mode and timers work on every plan. Certificates and event mode are on Starter and Pro.
How do timers work?
Set a time limit for the whole quiz, a countdown per question, or both. Respondents see the clock; when it runs out the answers so far are sent automatically, and the server enforces the limit and flags late responses, so nobody beats the clock by refreshing.
Can I put the leaderboard on a projector?
Yes. Press Present for a full-screen board, or share a presenter link with whoever runs the screen (links lapse after 14 days). Show the top 3 to 25, with names from a question you choose or kept anonymous.
How do people check a certificate is real?
Each certificate carries an ID and a QR code that open its public verification page on SOYL Forms. Anyone can type the ID at /certificates to check it.
What is event mode?
When a whole room answers on the venue's Wi-Fi, everyone shares one internet address and ordinary per-network limits can slow them down. Event mode opens a window of up to 24 hours with much higher limits for your form, plus a join screen with a QR code for the projector.
Is Fill with AI available in quizzes?
No. Fill with AI is switched off automatically in quiz mode, so answers come from the person taking the quiz.
